THEATRICAL INDEX is an accurate, factual and up-to-date listing that has been a vital resource to theatre professionals for over 40 years. Our subscribers include producers, managers, hotels, members of the press, actors, directors, banks, and attorneys...anyone who has anything to do with the theatre will find the INDEX a vital resource. It's an insiders' guide to the who, what, when, and where of the theatre business. Subscribers can find out what's happening now or next year, as well as who is working to make it happen.

THE COMPANY

The first issue of THEATRICAL INDEX was published on November 9, 1964. It was the brainchild of Price Berkley, who saw the need for information specifically geared to theatre professionals. To stay up-to-date with the constantly-changing Broadway landscape and production schedules, Price devised a publication short on gossip and long on facts. He started what has been called "The Bible" of the American Theatre.

THE PUBLICATION

The traditional, printed THEATRICAL INDEX is published and sent via First Class Mail every week. Each issue contains the current and future Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, as well as Touring productions and the World and American Premieres in the Regions. Subscribers choose how often they receive an issue: every week, twice a month, or once a month. The information is cumulative, so the question is "How often do you want to be updated?"
