The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Prod Artistic Dir; Evans Haile, Exec Dir) will honor legendary musical theatre writing team Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones with the 2017 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at the 26th Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala to be held on Mon Dec 4 at The Asia Society (725 Park Ave).
