MCC Theater (Bernie Telsey and Will Cantler, Co-Artistic Dirs; Blake West, Executive Dir) has announced Miscast24, which will take place on Mon April 15 at the Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th St). The evening will honor Jason Robert Brown and MCC Youth Company alum Nicole Suazo. Miscast24 will feature performances by Gavin Creel, Brian d’Arcy James, Tyne Daly, Ingrid Michaelson, Lauren Patten,  Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Anika Noni Rose, Lea Salonga, Ryan Vasquez, Vanessa Williams & Joy Woods. Will Van Dyke will serve as Musical Director. At the concert stars will perform songs from roles in which they would not traditionally be cast. Tickets are available for purchase at www.mcctheater.org/miscast. Funds raised will help MCC Theater produce work Off-Broadway and support its Youth Company and in-school partnerships that serve New York City public high school students, as well as MCC’s literary development work with emerging playwrights.
