Ripe Time Presents 8-hour reading of Mrs Dalloway

Ripe Time, the Brooklyn-based theater company led by Rachel Dickstein, will present CLARISSA DALLODAY, an eight-hour immersion into Virginia Woolf’s masterpiece "Mrs. Dalloway". Ripe Time presents the book in full,inviting audiences to travel through multiple Brooklyn locations—the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Public Library and a private residence on Prospect Park West—as they hear the work of one of the greatest modern literary minds. The event will conclude in Ripe Time's space at South Oxford Space in Fort Greene with, as befits the novel, a party. Readers will include Ellen McLaughlin, Kyra Hillelbaum and more TBA. Virginia Woolf’s modernist masterpiece Mrs. Dalloway, is set on a single day in June and tracks its protagonist as she walks through a city, in this case, London. The event will take place on Sat June 14 beginning at 12:00 PM at the Brooklyn Museum Lobby (200 Eastern Parkway).
