Transport Group has announced that its annual gala Gimme a Break!, will honor producer Barbara Whitman on Mon Dec 8 6:00 PM at the Asia Society and Museum (725 Park Ave).  The evening will feature Broadway stars sharing their “big break” moments in story and song, as well as an award presentation to Barbara Whitman, who will receive the “Transporting American Theatre” award for her outstanding contribution to the American theatre.  Performers will be announced at a later date.
