Arianda, Burstyn & Cattrall will headline reading of OUR CLASS

The Temple Emanu-El Skirball Center and the Polish Cultural Institute New York will present a one-night-only staged reading of OUR CLASS by Tadeusz SÅ‚obodzianek. The cast includes Nina Arianda, Ellen Burstyn, Kim Cattrall, Alvin Epstein, Brian Murray, John Pankow, Hunter Parrish & Austin Pendleton. The staged reading is directed by Cosmin Chivu with original music by Jesse SelengutMaking its New York City debut during Holocaust Remembrance Week, "Our Class" is the Polish play that follows a group of ten classmates, Catholics and Jews, from 1925 to the present. Victims and perpetrators are bound together and grow up in a country torn apart by the effects of war, betrayal, cruelty and repression. The play is inspired by true events and it is based on "Neighbors: The Destruction of the Jewish Community" in Jedwabne, Poland by Jan Tomasz Gross. The reading will take place on Mon Apr 13 at 7:00 PM at The Temple Emanu-El Skirball Center (10 E 66th St).
