The new comedy-improv show “Villain: DeBlanks” will begin perfs on Sun Novr 1 at 7:30 PM at The Triad, 158 W 72nd St.  Created by the writer/director Billy Mitchell and presented by Brenda Braxton, “Villain: DeBlanks” invites audience members to pre-fashion a stew of words and concepts that will come back to haunt each night’s new cast.  As they try to enact the story of Philip DeBlanks’ untimely death, the unrehearsed actors are asked to dig deep for whatever they can to maintain themselves and their dignity, usually with little success.  Added to the combustible mix are several theatre writers and critics who ought to know better, such as Adam Feldman, Adam Rothenberg and Peter Filichia. The cast lineup includes: NOV 1: Kealla Settle, Jeff Hiller, Bernard Dotson, Laura Yoder, Jessica Hendy, and Mike Schwitter; DEC 6: Daisy Eagan, Bobby Cronin, Lauren Elder, Geneva Carr, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, and Peter Filichia; JAN 3: Angela Robinson, Nick Cearley, Adam Feldman, Lesli Margherita, Molly Pope, and John Bolton;
FEB 7: Trent Armand Kendall, Mary Testa, Hank Morris, Eddie Capuano, Bobby Cronin, and Annaleigh Ashford; MARCH 6: Laura Bell Bundy, Patrick Page, Paige Davis, Adam Rothenberg, Amy Bizjak, and Erik Liberman; APRIL 3: Brenda Braxton, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Randy Graff, Bernard Dotson, Christian Campbell, and Alysha Umphress.  A portion of the hard-earned proceeds benefit the Humane Society of New York.  The shows are presented in association with R. Erin Craig and La Vie Productions. For tickets and more information, visit www.villaindeblanks.com. Press contact: Beck Lee/Media Blitz LLC (718/403-0939)...
