Broadway Bares: On Demand set for 6/19

The 26th annual edition of Broadway Bares goes live onstage on Sun June 19 at the Hammerstein Ballroom for two shows at 9:30 PM and midnight.  Watch what happens when Broadway Bares tackles the boob tube in an unrivaled evening of sexy striptease production numbers, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The event promises instant access to more than 150 of the hottest male and female dancers in New York City. Whether you’re searching for the thrill of victory or just your moment of zenBroadway Bares: On Demand will feature everything you love about television with a brand “nude” look. The show combines the naughtiness of burlesque with the glamour of Broadway. The event, which began in 1992, has become one of BC/EFA’s signature events. The show was created by Jerry Mitchell, who serves as executive producer. The first Broadway Bares featured Mitchell and six friends stripping on a bar and raised $8,000. To date, the 25 editions of Broadway Bares have raised more than $14.3 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. For the fourth year in a row, the show will be directed by Nick Kenkel.
