WE ARE!,  an  original  musical  by the  creators and  producers  of "Mama, I  Want To Sing",  will  give two industry workshop performances, on Sat April 30 and Sat June  4 at 4:30 PM at the Dempsey (127 West 127 St.) "We Are!" dramatizes the stories, the secrets and the  songs  of  today's  generation of urban  youth born  around the turn of  the century. Based  on the  "60 Minutes" double-segment feature, the show stars Vy Higginsen and the graduates  of  esteemed  Gospel For Teens program in Harlem. Higginsen wrote the script with her husband and creative partner, Ken Wydro, after hearing the  personal stories and testimonies  of the participants in the Gospel For Teens Program. "We Are" features a blend of original music, and beloved pop and gospel favorites and is  directed by Mr. Wydro, with choreography by Elijah Ahmad  Lewis.
