The Tent’s Co-Artistic Directors and Founders, Tim Sanford and Aimée Hayes, have announced a one-night only benefit performance Mon Dec 9 featuring a reading of "Wit and Wisdom: Readings from the great writings on the outrage, the interest, the pleasure, the amusement, amazement and abundance of the extraordinary phenomenon of getting older," compiled by Vivian Gornick and Nora Eisenberg. Directed by Eileen Phelan, the performance begins at 7:30 PM at The Peter Jay Sharp at Playwrights Horizons (416 W 42nd St). Performers include Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Kathleen Chalfant, John Ellison Conlee, Taylor Mac, Alfredo Narciso, and others to be announced. Tickets can be purchased at www.thetenttheater.com.
