“American Buffalo” had its World Premiere at the Goodman in Chicago in 1975. It opened on B’way on Feb 16, 1977 at the Ethel Barrymore under the auspices of Edgar Lansbury & Joseph Beruh in assoc w/Nan Perlman. Ulu Grosbard directed a cast which included Robert Duvall, Kenneth McMillan & John Savage. A revival, starring Al Pacino, opened on Oct 27, 1983 at the Booth under the auspices of Elliot Martin & Arnold Bernhard.
