In this new musical Betty Boop, the animated character created by Max Fleischer and introduced in the 1930s, joins her friends Bimbo and Koko to work her irresistible charm in reuniting her grandfather (who has created the Greatest Invention of Mankind) with the long-lost, true love of his life, while saving the Happy Heart Theater from the developer's bulldozers.
For The Record:
"Betty Boop" played its World Premiere in Chicago (Palace) in December 2024. This new musical held an industry reading in May 2022. Kim Exum played Betty Boop.
