“Company” originally opened on Apr 26, 1970 at the Alvin under the auspices of Harold Prince in assoc w/Ruth Mitchell. Mr Prince directed a cast which included Barbara Barrie, Susan Browning, Larry Kert, Charles Kimbrough, Pamela Myers & Elaine Stritch. The musical staging was by Michael Bennett. It was revived on B’way in 1993 and 1995.
Sidelight: John Doyle’s version of “Company” was originally produced at Cincinnati’s Playhouse in the Park, where it ran from Mar 14, 2006 to Apr 14, and featured the same cast.
