What begins as a troubled and hostile pairing, soon blossoms into a profound, life-altering friendship that transcends all the societal boundaries placed between them.

“Driving Miss Daisy” had its World Premiere at Playwrights Horizons before transferring to the Houseman on Fri July 24, 1987. Ron Lagomarsino directed a cast which included Morgan Freeman, Dana Ivey & Ray Gill. The 1990 film was written by Mr Uhry (Academy Award), directed by Bruce Beresford, and starred Morgan Freeman, Jessica Tandy & Dan Aykroyd.
