For The Record:
The original B’way production of “Mark Twain Tonight!” opened on Mar 22, 1966 at the Longacre under the auspices of Emanuel Azenberg, Eugene V Wolsk & Leonard Soloway in assoc w/John Lolas. Hal Holbrook directed and starred in the play and won a Tony® Award for his performance. There was a later revival of the play with Mr Holbrook in 1977 at the Imperial.
