"Take Me Out" had its world-premiere at London's Donmar Warehouse on June 20, 2002. A co-production with The Public Theater, the production ran until Aug. 3 and was directed by Joe Mantello. The cast featured Kevin Carroll, Dominic Fumusa, Gene Gabriel, Neal Huff, Robert Jimenez, Stephen Mendillo, Denis O'Hare, Kohl Sudduth, Daniel Sunjata, Frederick Weller and James Yeagashi.
