“The Country Girl” opened on Nov 10, 1950 at the Lyceum under the auspices of Dwight Deere Wiman. Clifford Odets directed a cast which included Uta Hagen, Paul Kelly & Steven Hill. It was last revived on B’way in 1972, featuring George Grizzard, Jason Robards & Maureen Stapleton. John Houseman was the director.
