"Upside Down" was inspired by a recent Gallup poll, which found that 92.4 percent of the surveyed U.S population identified as straight, while the rest considered themselves part of the LGBTQIA+ community. The musical comedy turns that number around, creating a world where straight people are the minority. Jack and Robert are two mainstream gay songwriters whose dream is to have a Broadway show, and decide to create the world's first-ever straight musical.
