When Marty McFly finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he accidentally changes the course of history. The 1985 fim was written by Robert Zemeckis & Bob Gale, directed by Robert Zemekis, and featured a score by Alan Silvestri. Micahel J Fox was the star. This new production had its World Premiere at Manchester Opera House in the UK in March 2020, but was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is currently playing the Adelphi in the West End, where it began in August 2021.The production features Roger Bart (Doc Brown) and Olly Dobson (Marty).
